Hello, |
Re: Form creation (Dialog Box) creating a form is not that difficult. As always, if you're not familiar with graphical objects in DOORS, have a look at .dxl and .inc files available in your installation directory. Then, the next step (the most crucial one) is to determine what kind of attribute you'd like to update. Are they int? Strings? User defined types? This first reflexion will give what kind of DBE objects you should use: list, checkboxes,... Also have a look at set and get functions in the DXL reference manual, without forgetting chapter 18. This could be helpfull. Good luck anyway! Cheers, Jean |
Re: Form creation (Dialog Box) A good dialog box example dxl can be run as follows: Open any module. On the menu bar, choose Tools->DXL Library... A Browse Tools - DOORS dialog box appears. Expand the Some example programs which illustrate various DXL features folder. Select the Introducing DDB file and run it. An Introducing DDB - DOORS dialog box appears. (Go ahead an position your cursor over the Rest your mouse here... text.) Click on the Demo-button. A DDB Demonstration - DOORS dialog box appears. Click around in it. You can edit the file to see how it all works. This is the ddbintro.dxl in C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\DOORS\9.2\lib\dxl\example on my PC. |
